Amanda Flint
With over 20 years of experience managing and
riding top caliber competition horses, Amanda
brings the highest standards of coaching and
training.
After obtaining her Masters degree in
Mathematics from the University of Illinois,
Amanda worked and rode for equestrian
luminaries Katie Monahan Prudent, Laura Kraut,
Todd Minikus and Peter Leone. In 2000 Amanda
spent the year in Europe preparing horses with
Nelson Pessoa and maintaining the Saudi
Arabian team horses at the Sydney Olympic
Games. Amanda is equally expert in preparing
horses and riders for the hunter and equitation
arenas. Her students have competed
successfully from short stirrup to Grand Prix. She
has achieved particular success with her clients
in the Junior Jumpers, Big Eq finals, Young
Riders, Pony Finals and Adult Equitation.
With her special talent at developing young
horses, Amanda has won the 4 Year Old, 5 Year
Old and 6 Year Old Young Jumper
Championships with horses that she broke and
trained. After ranking 9th in the 2007 American
Grand Prix Association Rookie of the Year
Standings, Amanda has won at the Grand Prix
level with a prospect she developed. Her 2010 win
of the 6 Year Old YJC Midwestern Finals with
Superbad was highlighted in the October 15,
2010 issue of The Chronicle of the Horse.
In 2011 Amanda's winning ride on Texas Hold
'Em in the HITS Ocala $10,000 Friday Prix on
February 25, 2011 was featured on
PhelpsSports.com. Other highlights include a
2nd in the 2011 Vermont Grand Prix with
Superbad. During the 2012 winter circuit Amanda
has won the HITS Ocala Brookledge Welcome
Stake and placed 2nd and 6th in the Atlanta
Grand Prix.
